As an amateur photographer, I aim to display my passion for music and the people around me who play an influential role to this art. Choir plays a big part of my teenage life as it makes me feel elated and free. One good thing about music is that when it hits you, you feel no pain. High School is a building filled with stress and hardship until you find something to look forward to. The true definition of choir is therapy for the mind and soul. You gain long lasting friendships and a soothing ride all through the years of High School.
In the series, I think each picture’s lighting feels like it is very soft. To me the lighting detracts from the photo. The main subject in each photo is in the rule of thirds. I would have done something different; I would have change the position of the subject in each photo. The mood I see in the photos is boredom. On the subjects faces I feel like that they just want the photo to be over and leave. It seems like it is the same photo but with a different person in the same position. I would have changed the direction that they were standing in. Or change the musical notes for each photo. It is a very good piece, but with a few changes it could be better.
